Leelanau Cheese Company has been using traditional Swiss methods to produce award-winning, Raclette cheese as well as spreadable Fromage Blanc. These artisan cheeses have been handmade in Leelanau County, using locally sourced cow herds for more than 25 years. Raclette is a semi-hard, washed-rind cheese, with a distinctive nutty flavor. It’s traditionally melted under a grill and scraped over potatoes and served with sour cornichon pickles, but we make it to be served as a table cheese too! Fromage Blanc is a fresh, soft cheese- think of it like a fluffier version of cream cheese. We mix in several flavors like savory garlic and earthy black truffle to appeal to any craving.
